The Obama administration just announced a delay in part of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act from 2014 to 2015. Employers of 50 or more will not be required to provide health insurance coverage for employees until 2015.
This delay comes after complaints about reporting requirements from small businesses. The administration plans to simplify reporting in addition to the one year implementation delay. Businesses will be fined for noncompliance after the deadline.
